Hello! I am Juan Guibert, the young man behind Onerzia. Have you heard of exoskeletons? No, I'm not talking about Iron Man, although the idea is not that far off. We are working on technology that can change the lives of athletes, giving them more options to maintain an active and safe life.
It all started with a simple question: How can we develop technology that helps an athlete move, but following their movements and most importantly, anticipating them? From this spark of inspiration Onerzia was born.
Since we started, we have been focused at 100% on changing people's perception of exoskeletons in the sporting world. We want them to stop being seen only as medical, military or industrial devices and to become an essential tool for athletes, a kind of right hand that helps them improve their performance, active life and prevent injuries.
Logically, by using a technology that adapts so much to the user, it can also help other types of people, for example elderly people with limited mobility or an injured athlete, in the initial phase of active recovery, so as not to go from zero to one hundred. and without having to spend extremely high amounts on other types of technology, an example could be anti-gravity running machines.
The idea is great, but you know what the best part is? We do it because we're passionate about it. We're fascinated by sports and technology, and being able to merge these two worlds is a source of pride for us. But not only that, we also love that our work focuses on improving the quality of life for many people. We love it, and on top of that, we try to help people—what more could you ask for? 🙂
Of course, we are a Startup and we know that this can generate certain doubts and concerns. However, we are very proud to be able to say that we are working with institutions such as the IBV (Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia) and other companies (which we cannot mention now due to confidentiality issues) with years of experience in the exoskeleton market in Spain. , with which we maintain constant communication and collaborate to gradually develop the greatest innovation on the market.
